تحدث خالد عبد الفتاح لاعب الأهلي، عن مباراة نهائي بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا، مشيرًا إلى سعادته بالانضمام إلى صفوف المارد الأحمر.

وكان الأهلي قاد فاز بلقب دوري أبطال إفريقيا منذ أيام على حساب الوداد المغربي، ليتوج بالبطولة للمرة 11 في تاريخه.

وقال خالد عبد الفتاح في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “كُنت أحلم بالمشاركة في نهائي إفريقيا، أي لاعب يتمنى هذه اللحظة”.

وعن حصوله على 3 بطولات في 6 أشهر: “هذا هو الطبيعي في الأهلي، وإن شاء الله هناك 3 بطولات أخرى في الطريق، الدوري وكأس مصر وكأس السوبر الإفريقي”.

وأضاف: “عندما تدخل مع لاعبين كبار وعقليات كبيرة تتعلم منهم، وتتأقلم على الوضع، دائمًا اللاعبين يتحدثون عن الفوز بدوري الأبطال، وتأقلمت سريعًا معهم”.

وأوضح: “شعوري في مباراتي الوداد وكأن الأدرينالين في جسدك كله، أجواء ممتعة ولا يوجد خوف، وكنا نشعر بأننا سنفوز، ولم نُفكر في الجماهير بمركب محمد الخامس”.

وأردف: “بعد أن أحرزنا هدف التعادل صممنا على عدم تلقى أي هدف آخر، حتى لو الجماهير نزلت الملعب لتواجهنا لن يصلوا لمرمانا”.

واستطرد: “أغنية (سطلانة) أصبحت الشعار الرسمي الخاص بنا بعد نشيد النادي الأهلي، الناس حينما تقابلني في الشارع لا يلتقطون الصور، ولكن يطلبون تصوير فيديو ويغنون (سطلانة)”.

لماذا بكيت أنت ومحمد هاني؟: “أنا بسبب الفرحة، لكن هاني هو الذي بكى كثيرًا، لأنه تعرض لانتقادات وكان يشعر بالظلم، وهو لاعب كبير ويستحق كل خير، وهو الآن في أفضل حالاته ورقم واحد في مركزه بمنتخب مصر، وجميعًا أخوه”.

وأتم: “الأهلي بمن حضر، روح الفريق موجودة دائمًا، اللاعب الذي يُشارك مستواه قريب من الاحتياطي، وأي لاعب يشارك يتألق وندعمه”.

Paul Marsh believes international cricket must be more accommodating to player associations if the sport is serious about eliminating the threat of corruption. Marsh was announced the new executive chairman of the Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations (FICA) this week and takes charge of the organisation at a challenging time. Last month its departing chief executive Tim May lost his position on the ICC cricket committee resulting from a voting process FICA has questioned.Since that vote, both the IPL and the Bangladesh Premier League have been plunged into corruption scandals and the sport’s image has taken a serious hit. Marsh said it was unfortunate that FICA, which represents players associations in all Test-playing countries except India, Pakistan and Zimbabwe, no longer had an official voice within the ICC at a time when administrators and players needed to build stronger links than ever.”The thing that I find ironic about it is that right now more than ever, with everything that’s going on in the game, it needs strong player associations,” Marsh told ESPNcricinfo. “The game, if it’s serious about ridding itself of these corrupt practices, should be embracing player associations. The reality is that there’s nobody in the game that has a better relationship with the players. That’s our role here. We have the opportunity to play a very strong leadership role around anti-corruption but those who are running the game have to embrace us in that space.”FICA potentially has a very, very important role in educating the players and individual player associations already take on that role. But we can take a far greater role there. Lord Condon in his report identified that many years ago and if you talk to the ICC’s anti-corruption and security unit they say the same thing, that player associations are important to this. Players are increasingly coming to us and reporting things they have seen or approaches that have been made to them.”The lack of player associations in India and Pakistan has limited FICA’s ability to have a truly worldwide influence and that is not a situation Marsh expects will change any time soon. Instead, he believes the organisation must focus its attention on strengthening some of the smaller and less robust player associations that already come under its banner.”To get associations in India and Pakistan has been on the FICA agenda for as long as I have been involved,” Marsh said. “But the reality is you’re not going to get a player association up unless the players want it and they’re going to be prepared to fight for it. Unfortunately the Indian and Pakistan players don’t want it, so we’re wasting our time trying to get them to want something they don’t want.”What we have to do is focus on making sure that FICA and each of the player associations is as strong as they possibly can be, because not one of us as individual player associations has had anything given to us over the journey. We’ve had to fight for everything we get. We have got four very strong player associations at the moment and we need to focus on building up the other three members.”Marsh will take on the FICA position effectively as the group’s figurehead and spokesperson, while also retaining his existing job as chief executive of the Australian Cricketers’ Association. Ian Smith, who has served as legal director of England’s Professional Cricketers’ Association, will become FICA’s chief operating officer.Effectively the two men will share the responsibilities previously handled by May, who stepped down this week after 16 years in player advocacy. Marsh said other immediate priorities for FICA included making Twenty20 leagues more accountable for the non-payment of player wages, which he said had become “a significant issue”. And he said that without an official voice at the ICC table, FICA would have to pursue other methods of making itself heard.”Unless the attitude towards FICA changes we’re going to become more and more vocal around these types of issues,” Marsh said. “What we want is what’s best for the game. We’re not going to just sit back and take the lack of respect and take the refusal to hear our voice lying down. That is not going to happen. We will continue to be strong in voicing our views.”

Guyana fast bowler Ronsford Beaton has been ruled out of the upcoming Caribbean Premier League after suffering a stress fracture. Beaton was in the Guyana Amazon Warriors squad.Beaton came into the limelight after an impressive domestic season during which he took 16 wickets from six matches in the regional four-day competition and another seven wickets in five matches in the Caribbean Twenty20.He will be replaced by 21-year-old fast bowler Keon Joseph.”It is unfortunate that we had to lose Beaton to injury as we expected him to play a major role in the team,” Roger Harper, coach of the Amazon Warriors, said. “However, we are delighted that we have been able to replace him with a talented player like Keon Joseph, and we are sure he will do a good job.”Joseph, who has represented West Indies in the Under-19 format, recently came to the fore after rocking Jamaica with a four-wicket haul at Providence in April.”I definitely feel excited that I’ve been called up to play for the Guyana Amazon Warriors,” Joseph said. “I am definitely coming to play and bringing my best.”The CPL begins on July 30 with the first match between Barbados Tridents and St Lucia Zouks. Mohammad Asif, the former Pakistan fast bowler, has publicly confessed to his part in spot-fixing during the Lord’s Test in 2010 and hopes to make amends in order to revive his international career. He delivered an unconditional apology at the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday, nearly three years after he was handed a seven-year ban from participating in any form of cricket.”I accept the punishment from the ICC tribunal in 2011,” Asif said at a press conference. “I apologise for my actions that have brought disrespect to my beloved country, to the millions of fans in Pakistan and in the world. When I look back at the events of my career, I feel very sorry.”I request all the players who want to represent their country that they must keep away from all sorts of corruption,” he added. “I am ready to help any player who wants to avoid such pitfalls. I will duly cooperate with the ICC, its Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) and with the PCB, in fighting corruption in the game.”In April, Asif and his former captain Salman Butt, who was handed a five-year ban and another five years suspension from all cricket by the ICC, lost their appeals to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for the suspensions to be reduced. Dave Richardson, the ICC’s chief executive, called on them to admit their wrongdoing and cooperate with the ICC’s ACSU following which Butt had apologised in June.Asif, who was found guilty of bowling a deliberate no-ball, will be 33 by the time the minimum of five years from his ban are complete and will work through the final two years under suspension, on condition that he commits no further breach of the Code of Conduct throughout that period and participates in an anti-corruption education programme under the Pakistan Cricket Board. The apology is not expected to have any immediate implications but Asif will have to undergo rehabilitation and present the whole truth to the ACSU and PCB.”I also want to make myself available for the rehab program to be conducted by the PCB through the support of the ICC,” he said, “I have suffered a lot because of my wrongdoings. Now on the Independence Day of my country, I promise that once my ban finishes I will try to repair the damage I have done. My family has also suffered so I want to start a new life with a hope that all the fans of the game accept me.””I also request the ICC to allow me to play first-class cricket so that when my ban ends I am fit enough to represent my country.”

O sistema de ensino dos Estados Unidos permite que qualquer jovem com aptidão para o esporte possa ter acesso a uma faculdade de qualidade, a um bom diploma. E o melhor, toda essa oportunidade é acessível aos brasileiros – explicou o ex-zagueiro Jean Narde, ao comentar sobre o comparecimento de 30 garotos no primeiro teste.

ويلتقي منتخب مصر مع غينيا، مساء غد الثلاثاء، في الدور نصف النهائي لبطولة أمم إفريقيا تحت 23 عامًا.

يذكر أن الـ 3 منتخبات الأولى من البطولة تتأهل مباشرة إلى أولمبياد باريس 2024، والمنتخب الرابع يلعب مباراة فاصلة مع نظيره من قارة آسيا للتأهل.

كشفت تقارير صحفية عربية النقاب، عن المقابل المادي الذي حدده نادي التعاون السعودي للاستغناء عن اللاعب الدولي مصطفى فتحي، لصالح الأهلي.
