Paolo Guerrero está de volta ao Flamengo e deve fazer sua reestreia, após seis meses, neste domingo, diante do Internacional. O jogador cumpriu sua suspensão por doping, encerrada na quinta-feira, e foi relacionado pelo técnico Maurício Barbieri. O camisa 9 será opção no banco de reservas e deve entrar no decorrer do jogo. Henrique Dourado segue como titular.

Guerrero desembarcou no Brasil na madrugada deste sábado e treinou normalmente pela manhã com todo elenco rubro-negro no Ninho do Urubu. Mantendo a forma desde que foi suspenso, o jogador está em condições de voltar a jogar. Sabe-se que ele não deve aguentar 90 minutos, até pela desgastante viagem feita na semana.

Na segunda-feira, Guerrero viajou para a Suíça e foi julgado novamente pela Corte Arbitral do Esporte, já que a Agência Mundial Antidoping pediu para que a suspensão do jogador fosse mais longa dos que os seis meses. O resultado do novo julgamento ainda não foi divulgado.

A última vez que Guerrero entrou em campo pelo Flamengo foi no dia 19 de outubro do ano passado, quando a equipe goleou o Bahia por 4 a 1, na Ilha do Urubu, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro. A partida em que o camisa 9 foi flagrado no antidoping foi pela Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo, no dia 5 de outubro, diante da Argentina.

A tendência é que Guerrero ganhe algumas chances como titular, como na partida de domingo que vem, diante da Chapecoense, em Chapecó, O jogador também está confirmado entre os relacionados ao seu próprio pedido.

Michael Hussey has bracketed the Australia allrounder Shane Watson’s murderous 185 not out with the best innings of Adam Gilchrist, and has little doubt Watson is capable of repeating his feat.Watching from the boundary as Watson crashed a world record 15 sixes, Hussey was reminded of Gilchrist’s 149, which included eight sixes, in the 2007 World Cup final against Sri Lanka, considered by many to be the apogee of intimidatory top order batting in limited overs cricket.”It was pretty phenomenal, consistent hitting really,” said Hussey. “I was thinking I hadn’t seen consistent hitting like that since probably Gilly in the World Cup final in 2007. It was a phenomenal innings, and he’s been able to put together quite a few phenomenal innings really in the last period.”The 160-odd against England [in January] was a pretty amazing innings as well at the MCG. So his consistency to do it is pretty amazing, but just the strength and power to be able to consistently clear the boundary. There were quite a few that I don’t even think he got close to the middle of the bat and they still managed to sail 10 rows back, amazing consistency.”Not every member of the Australian touring party to Bangladesh was able to enjoy the show – tyros Tim Paine and James Pattinson learning that it may be wiser in future to keep watching until Watson has been dismissed. Com a vaga praticamente encaminhada, o Grêmio controlava o jogo sem maiores problemas desde o início e chegou ao gol na marca dos 11 minutos. Alisson fez bela jogada com Cícero e bateu cruzado para fazer 1 a 0.

Melhor em campo, o Tricolor aumentava o volume no campo ofensivo e criou duas boas oportunidades, mas os chutes de Thonny Anderson e Lima pararam no goleiro Rangel.

Harbhajan Singh has said it is “important to understand your body and manage it accordingly” in order to survive the rigours of the bloated schedule India’s cricketers are being subjected to.”A lot of hard work has been put in outside the field, and I am glad that it is paying off when the country needs me the most,” Harbhajan told the ahead of the West Indies tour, where he will be vice-captain of the one-day side in the absence of all the other senior players who are either resting or recovering from injuries. “You need to build your stamina to remain fit and be raring to go, and that happens only with proper planning. During non-match days I make sure that I sleep well – it is the most important nourishment to your body. I don’t try and push my body too much. The key is to just keep things simple.”For the one-day leg, Harbhajan will be the deputy to Suresh Raina who appeared on the scene much after Harbhajan established his place in the Indian side. Harbhajan said that he was not too bothered about not being named the captain of the depleted outfit. “Not everybody gets to be [king], some have to be [minister],” he said. “It’s a great honour to play for India. Of course, the dream to captain the side is alive, and I hope that it happens someday. But until then, I just want to do the best I can for the team. It is an honour to just be a part of this side.”It [my role as vice-captain] is simple, I have to make sure the dressing room environment remains fresh and energetic. The main thing is to make the youngsters feel very comfortable in the dressing room. There should be positive vibes all around, and the most important thing is to try and maintain our winning momentum from the World Cup.”Harbhajan had a reasonably successful IPL, finishing with 14 dismissals in 15 games at an economy-rate of 6.98. He believed switching from the Twenty20 format to one-dayers at short notice would not be a problem for him. “They are diametrically opposite versions, but being a professional, I’m ready for it. In Twenty20s, every second guy can roll his arm over – you don’t need skill or great variation. However, in the 50-over format, a spinner can really achieve something substantial. The switch is quite drastic.”The IPL was alright, it still is quite an unpredictable format for everyone concerned, but especially the bowlers. As a spinner, all I can do is to pray that the four overs go well. If I get lucky, then I end up with a couple of wickets, otherwise the only constant is to get hit for runs all over the park. You can’t really judge a player based on his Twenty20 performances.”Harbhajan will share the spin burden with R Ashwin and Amit Mishra in the West Indies one-dayers, both of whom courted more success than him in the IPL. Harbhajan said there were plenty of options in the team and did not want to comment on the combination. He hoped that the youngsters would make use of the chance to shine in the absence of the regulars.”It is a relatively young side, and this tour should be looked at as an opportunity for them to grab,” Harbhajan said. “They have earned their team call-ups the hard way, and after knocking on the door for so long, they have an entire series to really stake their claim. Nevertheless, it will be a challenge.”

وقال طاهر في تصريحات بالمؤتمر الصحفي: “كان من ضمن أهداف الشركة الدخول في المجال الرياضي وبالفعل اقتحمنا مع شركة بريزنتيشن”.

وأضاف: “كان هدفنا التواجد في مكان هو الأفضل وصرح عظيم، وقد كان نادي الزمالك وهو أكبر كيان تحقيقًا للإنجازات والبطولات تحت قيادة مجلس الإدارة برئاسة مرتضى منصور”.

وأردف: “أشكر مرتضى منصور صاحب أطيب قلب والذي لا ينطق إلا بكلمة الحق دائمًا، ويشرفني أننا من محافظة واحدة وهي الدقهلية، وأشكر الشركة المتحدة وشركة بريزنتيشن ومسؤوليهم”.

وأتم: “اخترنا الزمالك لأنه الأفضل حاليًا، وهو كذلك منذ سنوات، وهو الأكثر تطويرًا بين الأندية”.

Sob forte chuva, a jornada do Serrano começou com três pontos conquistados na Série B1 do Campeonato Carioca. Em pleno Marrentão, a vitória por 1 a 0 sobre o Duque de Caxias deu ao time de Petrópolis a primeira vitória na competição logo na rodada de abertura. Para o lateral-esquerdo Magdiel, apesar da anormalidade vista no jogo, o momento serviu para a equipe colocar em prática o que foi trabalhado até entrar em campo.

– Nosso time é muito técnico e de início tivemos ciência que teríamos que ser cirúrgicos e eficientes na defesa e aproveitar as brechas para fazer o gol. Foi o que aconteceu. Nosso time ficou muito bem postado, conseguimos ter um equilíbrio tático e neutralizar o adversário. Por fim, saímos de lá com os três pontos, que sem duvidas foram importantíssimos. Fisicamente, estou muito bem. A preparação na nossa pré-temporada foi fundamental para isso. Consegui ser intenso durante os noventa minutos. Mesmo com o campo muito pesado e diversas poças d’agua, consegui ter uma excelente performance tanto técnica quanto física – analisou o lateral-esquerdo do Serrano.

Com a primeira vitória conquistada, a luta do Leão da Serra é para manter o ritmo e conquistar mais resultados positivos ao longo da Taça Santos Dumont – o primeiro turno do Campeonato Carioca Série B1. A manutenção do bom futebol vai servir não só para conquistar a segunda vitória, mas também, pensando mais para frente, em viabilizar os objetivos da equipe dentro da competição. Magdiel comenta tais missões que a equipe de Petrópolis tem dentro do torneio.

– Nosso real objetivo, em todo momento, é buscar o acesso e, consequentemente, ser campeão. A gente vem trabalhando em cima disso e vamos buscar esses dois objetivos. O planejamento de toda diretoria foi muito bem montado, a equipe é muito qualificada, o grupo é forte. Diversos jogadores rodados, uns que já conhecem a competição e outros que jogaram ou jogam Série A. Isso faz diferença – ressaltou o camisa 6.

O duelo contra o Itaboraí, marcado para a segunda rodada, foi transferido para o dia 30 de maio. Desta forma, o próximo compromisso é contra o Bonsucesso, no próximo domingo (27), em Moça Bonita. Ciente que terá um adversário tradicional pela frente, e que também busca o acesso, Magdiel projeta um jogo complicado na busca por mais uma vitória na Série B1.

– Sem sombra de dúvidas vamos enfrentar uma equipe bem qualificada e que também venceu na sua estreia. O Bonsucesso esteve durante muito tempo na Série A, caiu, e acredito que a reformulação foi forte pra novamente se obter o acesso. Porém, eles não vão ter vida fácil. Vamos para o jogo pra sair de lá com os 3 pontos, assim como fizemos contra o Duque de Caxias. Vamos trabalhar forte durante a semana, ouvir o que o professor Marcelo Olímpio tem pra nos passar e colocar em prática tudo aquilo que foi trabalhado. Certamente será um grande jogo de duas equipes – concluiu.
