O anúncio de dois jogos de punição ao Flamengo, com portões fechados, feitos pela Conmebol nesta quarta-feira foi motivo de lamentação para o técnico da equipe, Paulo César Carpegiani. Após a vitória por 1 a o, sobre o Bangu, pelo terceira rodada do Campeonato Carioca, o comandante foi questionado do fato e afirmou sentir a ausência dos torcedores como se fosse um jogador dentro de campo.

-Fui informado da punição, lamentamos. Acho que o Flamengo vai recorrer. Não tem muito a acrescentar. Só lamentamos o fato de não ter um ‘jogador’ tão importante que é o torcedor. Não tenho objeção, temos um jurídico e eles sabem o que podem fazer – comentou o treinador.

Antes da partida, o presidente do clube, Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, confirmou que o Rubro-Negro irá recorrer dessa decisão da entidade máxima do futebol sul-americano. A punição se deu devido aos incidentes que ocorreram no ano passado envolvendo a torcida do Flamengo e a do Independiente, da Argentina, na final da Copa Sul-Americana vencida pelos rivais.

Bandeira ainda afirmou que se o Flamengo não conseguir reverter esta punição, inclusive para a estreia diante do River Plate (ARG) , no dia 28 de fevereiro, a tendência é que o clube mande os jogos na Ilha do Urubu mesmo, já que terá portões fechados. Em caso de mudanças, a opção seria o Maracanã, contudo o estádio também pode estar inapto devido a agenda de shows marcados no local.

Enquanto a situação não é resolvida, o Flamengo se prepara para encarar o Vaco, no sábado, no Maracanã, no primeiro clássico da temporada. A partida está marcada para às 17h (de Brasília).

Everton will travel to St James’ Park for their first Premier League clash after the winter break and their first league game since Frank Lampard was appointed as the manager last month.

However, the ex-Chelsea boss has been given a double injury setback to his tenure already.

What’s the word?

Lampard took to his pre-match press conference to give an update on both Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ben Godfrey, both of whom have been regular starting players in the Everton side this season.

The Toffees manager told the press:

“Ben came back from his scan this morning and will be a 4-5 week injury, we hope without any issues.”

“Doucoure is still 3-4 weeks.”

In late January, Everton confirmed in a statement that Doucoure would be out for a minimum of four weeks, and almost two weeks on, if Lampard’s comments are accurate, the midfielder’s timeframe of being side-lined hasn’t reduced, whilst the loss of Godfrey over the next five weeks weakens the squad further.

Frank will be fuming

The game itself is critical for Everton’s season, and a win could be the start of a turning point for the side who currently sit just four points off the relegation zone, so Lampard will be hoping he can emulate the successful team performance he led his new side to in the FA Cup last weekend, with the side winning 4-1 comfortably against Brentford.

The ongoing injuries in the squad will leave the manager fuming, as he navigates through a challenging time for the Toffees in the league with many congested fixtures, including an important FA Cup game against Boreham Wood in that time.

Lampard would surely be wanting as much availability in his team so that he has the opportunity to really get to know the players, their strengths and who will fit into his philosophy moving forward at the club.

Thus, injuries to first-team players has come at a vulnerable time for the squad and will surely have an impact on the new manager’s selections and plans in the remaining months of the season.

Everton made five signings in the January transfer window so the new manager will be hoping that his new acquisitions can come in quickly to make an impact on the team ahead of his task of pulling the side back into safety this season.

The Latest: Europa Conference League inclusions

As reported by The Daily Record’s Lindsay Herron, both Furuhashi and Turnbull have been included in Celtic’s 25-man Europa Conference League squad.

Herron said that the ‘key stars could make their comebacks against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt’ – an exciting 10-word claim ahead of the two games on February 17 and 24.

The Verdict: Would be huge…

Celtic have been extremely impressive without the pair this year, but you’d expect that they would be even better with Furuhashi and Turnbull back in the side.

The Japanese forward has contributed to 21 goals in 26 games as a Celtic player, whereas the Scottish midfielder has made a whopping 4.1 key passes per game, as per WhoScored, with both regulars in the first XI before their respective injuries.

Having the pair back against Bodo/Glimt would give Postecoglou even more creative and attacking options over the two legs, which could be key, especially with the Hoops boss able to make five substitutions during the 90 minutes.

O Corinthians fez uma correção nos valores da venda de Jô ao Nagoya Grampus (JAP), por meio gerente de futebol Alessandro Nunes. Nesta terça-feira, o dirigente disse que a negociação foi fechada por 10 milhões de dólares (cerca de R$ 32 milhões), e não em euros (cerca de R$ 39 milhões), como havia dito o presidente Roberto de Andrade. A diferença nos valores, de cerca de R$ 7 milhões, foi publicada pelo jornalista Juca Kfouri em seu blog no Portal UOL, motivando a declaração de Alessandro.

O jornalista também informou que o Corinthians pagou cerca de R$ 9,5 milhões do montante a dois empresários a titulo de comissão pela intermediação do negócio. Alessandro não confirmou o valor, mas disse ser normal o pagamento de comissão nestes casos, mas com porcentagem definida.

Nesta quinta-feira, sua rescisão de contrato com o Fluminense foi publicada no Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) da Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF). Era o que faltava para o jogador ser oficializado como reforço do Timão.

Henrique conseguiu a rescisão contratual na Justiça, após alegar atraso de vencimentos. Antes, ele foi colocado em lista de dispensa pelo Fluminense, momento no qual passou a negociar com o Corinthians. Será o sexto reforço do Timão para a temporada 2018.

Além do zagueiro, o Corinthians já contratou o lateral-esquerdo Juninho Capixaba, o volante Renê Júnior, o meia Mateus Vital e os atacantes Júnior Dutra e Emerson Sheik. O clube ainda busca um camisa 9 para substituir Jô, e chegou a negociar com Henrique Dourado, também do Fluminense.

Henrique tem treinado no CT Joaquim Grava enquanto aguarda para assinar contrato. O vínculo deve ser válido por três temporadas. Ele ainda aprimora a forma física e deve demorar um pouco mais para estrear pelo clube. Foi contratado para substituir Pablo, que não acertou permanência e voltou ao Bordeaux (FRA). Em seu lugar, tem jogado Pedro Henrique ao lado de Balbuena. O elenco ainda tem Vilson, Léo Santos e Yago como zagueiros.

النجم الإسباني أعلن منذ أيام أنه سيعتزل كرة القدم مع برشلونة، وودع الجماهير في ملعب كامب نو خلال مباراة البلوجرانا السبت الماضي أمام ألميريا.

بيكيه أجرى مقابلة مع إيباي عبر تطبيق “تويتش”، وقال: “يعرف الناس بالفعل أنني بدأت الموسم بالحديث مع تشافي الذي أخبرني أنه سيكون من الصعب أن يعتمد عليّ بشكل أساسي”.

وأشار: “أعتقد أنه لو لم تكن هناك إصابات في الفريق كنت سأعلن عن اعتزالي من قبل، لكن الفريق كان بحاجة لي، وهو سبب تأخير موعد اعتزالي إلى فترة توقف كأس العالم”.

واختتم: “ما حدث يوم السبت في وداعي كان مُذهلًا بالنسبة لي، لم أعط هذه الأهمية للوداع، لكنني شاهدت مدى تقدير الناس، لا أحب الوداع، خاصة لأنني سأستمر في الارتباط بهذا النادي إلى الأبد”.
