Na terça-feira, o presidente Eurico Miranda anunciou que os torcedores terão um presente de Natal e a expectativa maior é sobre Luis Fabiano. A situação pelo camisa 9 ganhou novidades nos últimos dias.

O Santos, também concorrente do Vasco por Luis Fabiano, ficou para trás neste primeiro momento. Ofereceu valor e tempo de contrato abaixo do esperado pelo atacante. O clube presidido por Eurico Miranda ofereceu R$ 200 mil. Ele quer R$ 250 mil, e há conversas para que esta diferença seja equacionada.

Luis Fabiano segue em conversa com o Tianjin Quanjian, da China, pela documentação de seu desligamento. A chance que o assunto se resolva antes do Natal é muito pequena. Nos períodos de fins de ano comandados por Eurico Miranda, outros presentes foram prometidos, dados, mas não necessiariamente antes do dia 25 – apesar de o clube esperar há um mês.

EXPECTATIVA DE ANÚNCIOS

Vice-presidente de futebol e gerente da pasta, Eurico Brandão e Anderson Barros, respectivamente, convocaram entrevista coletiva para a manhã desta quinta-feira, em São Januário. Será a primeira oportunidade que o filho do presidente Eurico Miranda, mais conhecido como Euriquinho, falará com os jornalistas depois que foi promovido na diretoria vascaína.

Na oportunidade, Anderson Barros também deve ser apresentado. O esquema de trabalho do departamento de futebol do Vasco deve ser detalhado, em conjunto do que já foi elaborado pelo técnico Cristovão Borges visando 2017. Existe a expectativa de anúncios de reforços e desligamentos sejam feitos durante o evento.

Vale lembrar que Eurico Brandão comanda o futebol do Vasco desde o fim da temporada passada, quando o então vice-presidente da pasta, José Luis Moreira, pediu licença por problemas pessoais. Como assessor especial da presidência, foi o responsável neste 2016 por desenvolver o esquema do clube nas contratações.

Novo superintendente de futebol do Vasco, Isaías Tinoco também deve estar no evento, assim como o presidente vascaíno Eurico Miranda.

Graham Roberts believes that Mauricio Pochettino remains the best candidate for the Tottenham job.

The Argentine was sacked and replaced by Jose Mourinho in November 2019, but with Spurs now in need of a manager, reports believe that Pochettino is on Daniel Levy’s radar.

He recently secured his second major trophy with PSG following their Coupe de France final victory over Monaco, but his failure to win the Ligue 1 title has raised serious questions over his future.

Tottenham have been linked with several names following the departure of Mourinho last month ahead of the Carabao Cup final, but Levy is trying to convince Pochettino to make a sensational return just 18 months after he was sacked.

Pochettino was a favourite with the Spurs faithful having turned the club into top four regulars before guiding the north London outfit to their first Champions League final in his final full season.

Asked whether the Tottenham chairman’s ego could get in the way of him approaching Pochettino about a return to the club, Roberts exclusively told Football FanCast:

“Everybody knows he’s got it wrong, so he’s not owning up to anything.

“Why not just say, who is the best person for this football club? Pochettino is your answer.”

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

What’s the story?

According to a report from Anfield Central, Jurgen Klopp’s charges are interested in acquiring the 24-year-old’s services this summer as the German manager searches for Gini Wijnaldum’s replacement.

Barella played a key part in the San Siro outfit’s Serie A success last season, starting 32 league games for the Nerazzurri as they claimed their first Scudetto in over a decade.

Wijnaldum has been a crucial cog in Klopp’s system in recent years, heavily contributed to the Reds’ Premier League and Champions League success during his time on Merseyside.

The Dutch international’s imminent exit to Barcelona will, therefore, leave a sizeable gap in the Liverpool engine room that will need to be filled during the upcoming window.

Inter’s Barella is the latest name rumoured to be on the wishlist of the six-time European champions after the £58.5 million rated dynamo caught the eye with his full-blooded displays in Milan.

Antonio Conte’s side took Serie A by storm in 2020/21, securing the title by 12 points, with many standout performers grabbing the headlines.

Barella was certainly one of those men, as he ranked in the top three for dribbles, assists, key passes and through balls per game amongst his teammates, leading to former Juventus star Claudio Marchisio calling him a “complete” player.

Liverpool aren’t expected to have a huge transfer budget this summer as they continue to feel the financial impact of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but Inter reportedly need to raise around £80m in player sales just to stay afloat.

As a consequence, Barella could be available at a bargain price over the coming months, and it’s a deal Klopp should be pushing to complete.

The balance between deep-lying playmaker Thiago, holding midfielder Fabinho, and box-to-box workhorse Barella would place Liverpool’s midfield amongst the best in world football and would undoubtedly have the potential to propel the Reds back to the summit of English football.

Forming a dream duo of Fabinho and Barella in the centre of the park, allowing Thiago the freedom to roam and create at will, could cause any opposition side major issues and it’s a combination that the club’s supporters can certainly get excited about.

O Corinthians pode anunciar a contratação do volante Paulo Roberto, ex-Sport, ainda nesta segunda-feira, mas segue no mercado em busca de outras opções para o setor. Ele tem contrato até o meio de 2018, mas é agenciado por Carlos Leite, que tem boa relação com a diretoria do Corinthians e está disposto a vê-lo de volta ao futebol brasileiro. A informação foi publicada inicialmente pelo Yahoo Esportes. Segundo apuração do LANCE!, Fellipe Bastos tenta a rescisão com o Al Ain para voltar ao Brasil sem custos.

Fellipe Bastos passou pelas categorias de base do Botafogo e do PSV (HOL) antes de se profissionalizar pelo Benfica (POR), onde pouco jogou. Depois, ainda defendeu Belenenses (POR), Servette (SUI), Vasco, Ponte Preta e Grêmio. Ele venceu uma Copa do Brasil pelo Vasco e foi vice da Sul-americana pela Ponte Preta, mas seu último clube no Brasil foi o Grêmio. O Internacional concluiu as negociações para anunciar Uendel, na manhã desta terça-feira. Aos 28 anos, o lateral-esquerdo, que será apresentado nesta tarde, no Beira-Rio, assina um contrato até dezembro de 2019.

Para contratar o defensor, que era titular do Corinthians,o Inter pagou R$ 3,5 milhões por 100% dos direitos econômicos dele, sem outros jogadores envolvidos em troca ou modalidades diferentes de negócio.

RESUMO DA CARREIRA

Uendel iniciou a carreira no Criciúma, sendo na época, aos 16 anos, o mais jovem atleta a estrear pelo time profissional. Foi negociado com o Fluminense em 2008 e repassado ao Avaí em 2009. De volta a Santa Catarina, rapidamente se adaptou e passou a ser uma das referências do time em 2010, sendo escolhido o melhor lateral-esquerdo do Estadual.

Indicado pelo técnico Silas, o lateral esteve no Grêmio no meio da temporada 2010, mas não chegou a jogar por conta de uma lesão. Logo no início de 2011 foi para a Ponte Preta. Em Campinas, foi destaque do time por três temporadas, sendo titular em duas edições do Campeonato Paulista, na Série B do Brasileirão de 2011 e no Campeonato Brasileiro de 2012 e 2013.

No início de 2014, após 135 jogos pela Ponte Preta, Uendel foi vendido ao Corinthians. Desde então foi se firmando no time. Assumiu de vez a titularidade no Campeonato Brasileiro de 2015 ajudando o Corinthians a conquistar o título nacional. Ao longo das três temporadas Uendel disputou 116 jogos e anotou seis gols pelo Corinthians.

يُقال أن المدير الفني لمنتخب البرازيل تيتي يجري محادثات مع آرسنال بشأن وظيفة محتملة بمجرد مغادرته منصبه بعد كأس العالم 2022.

يستعد المدرب البالغ من العمر 60 عامًا لترك منصبه مع راقصي السامبا، في وقت لاحق من هذا العام بعد البطولة في قطر.

وزُعم أنه قد يتجه إلى الإمارات بعد مناقشات مع المدير التقني لنادي آرسنال إيدو.

وسبق لـ تيتي العمل إلى جانب إيدو، في المنتخب الوطني البرازيلي بين 2016 و2019، عندما كان إيدو هو المنسق العام للمنتخب.

كما سبق لهما العمل في نادي كورينثيانز، حيث كان تيتي مدربًا للفريق، وإيدو مديرًا لكرة القدم.

وقد قيل الآن أنه يمكن لم شملهما من جديد في شمال لندن بعد المفاوضات بين الطرفين.

وأضاف: “للعمل في آرسنال، هناك مفاوضات مع إيدو، هناك نية لذلك بالفعل، بدأت المحادثات”.

لم يكشف الصحفي عن الدور الذي سيلعبه تيتي، لكن من غير المرجح أن يتم اعتباره بديلًا للمدرب الحالي مايكل أرتيتا.

The Latest: Gers to battle Celtic for Okumu

Now, this latest report suggests they are interested in signing Okumu, who is also on the radar of their fierce city rivals Celtic.

Gent, Reims and Lorient are also in pursuit, with the latter said to have launched an offer of 30m SEK (£3m). Elfsborg are said to be looking for £4m to part ways with the 24-year-old.

The Verdict: Worth a punt

In Europe, Okumu has only played for Elfsborg, but he has received plenty of praise for his performances. His teammate at the Swedish outfit, Johan Larsson, compared him to Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk (tuko.co.ke), while Elfsborg sporting director Stefan Andreasson said he was the best central defender to play in the Swedish Allsvenskan (The Daily Record), and therefore even better than current Gers man Filip Helander.

He so far has no experience in European competition and, at £4m, he would not come particularly cheap. However, given the praise he has received and the plentiful interest in his services, he is clearly a quality player and could be a top signing for Ross Wilson and co if they can capture his services.
